They should have proven experience in data cleaning and quality assurance, as well as in preparing technical documentation and data reports while managing workflows in a multi-stakeholder environment. Practical expertise with data platforms and tools is highly valued, including SQL databases, Excel or Google Sheets, and data capture systems such as REDCap, ODK, SurveyCTO, or Qualtrics; familiarity with visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is advantageous. Proficiency in programming or scripting languages commonly used for data processing, such as R, SAS, Stata and Python, is desirable. Knowledge of data protection principles and compliance frameworks, along with a foundational understanding of statistical methods and data analytics principles will be beneficial. Applicants should be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and possesses strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities are required to convey technical information to non-technical audiences and to build trusted relationships across teams. Leadership, mentoring capabilities, and a commitment to ethical data practices are important in a fast-paced project environment. The appointee will assist the Data Manager in overseeing the end-to-end data lifecycle across multiple projects, ensuring that data collection, processing, validation, storage, and reporting meet high standard. This role is crucial in maintaining data integrity and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
