Backend Developer — R&D

------------------------------------------------------------------------ Role: Backend Developer — R&D Location: Baner, Pune Experience: 1.5+ years preferred Mode: Full-time, on-site ------------------------------------------------------------------------ At Bludigit Technologies, we build software and automation systems for textile machinery and screen-printing workflows. This is not a routine CRUD backend role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys open-ended technical problems, research-driven development, Python experimentation, and building backend systems around real-world image-processing workflows. What you may work on: • Research-driven software development and experimentation • Designing and improving backend systems and services • Building proof-of-concepts and validating technical approaches • Working with Python and modern development tools • Integrating and maintaining APIs, databases, and supporting infrastructure • Performance optimization, debugging, and problem-solving • Converting validated ideas into reliable product features We are looking for someone who can: • Break down unclear problems before jumping into code • Use AI coding tools intelligently, not blindly • Debug, verify, and explain generated outputs • Research independently and test multiple approaches • Write or modify Python scripts • Understand APIs, databases, and backend workflows • Work full-time from our Baner, Pune office Good fit if you are: • A backend developer with strong reasoning ability • Comfortable with Python and AI-assisted development • Interested in image processing, automation, or applied R&D • Curious, structured, and willing to learn deeply • Someone who prefers solving real problems over repetitive tasks
