You’ll design, build, and run large-scale, real-time distributed backend services where reliability and performance directly impact live operations.\nThis role is for people who can take ambiguous problems, break them down, and deliver production-grade solutions end-to-end.\nWhat You’ll Be Responsible For\nDesign and build distributed backend services using Erlang/OTP\nOwn services end-to-end: design → development → deployment → monitoring → production support\nModel concurrent systems using message passing and actor-based design\nBuild fault-tolerant systems using supervision trees and recovery strategies\nEnsure systems are production-ready (logging, metrics, alerts, safe deployments)\nDebug and resolve real-world distributed system failures\nImprove performance, scalability, and reliability continuously\n&99;️ Core
Skills Required
\nStrong hands-on experience with Erlang & OTP\nExperience with:\nGenServer, Supervisors, FSM\nETS / Mnesia\nDistributed Erlang (clustering, node communication, fault handling)\nSolid understanding of:\nDistributed systems design\nActor model & concurrency\nEvent-driven architectures\nWorking knowledge of:\nLinux (debugging & performance)\nNetworking (TCP/UDP, REST/gRPC)\nMessaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)\nDatabases (Redis, PostgreSQL)\nDocker, Kubernetes, CI/CD\nWhat We Look For\nEngineers who own outcomes, not just tasks\nStrong debugging skills in distributed environments\nAbility to think in failure scenarios, not just happy paths\nComfortable working on always-on, production systems\nClear communication and decision-making ability\n'95;
