Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.Design and implement secure, reliable and well-structured REST APIs.Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schemas, relationships, indexes and queries.Develop reusable backend services, libraries and platform components.Build business applications and features involving data management, business rules, workflows and integrations.Implement authentication, authorization and role/permission-based access control.Design secure API-level authorization and data-access controls.Develop secure file upload, download, processing and storage capabilities where required.Integrate applications with cloud services, databases, object storage and external APIs.Work with technologies such as AWS S3 / S3-compatible storage / MinIO where required.Work with search technologies such as Elasticsearch where applicable.Implement audit logging, application monitoring and security-related events.Develop integrations with third-party systems and services.Work with React.js for frontend development and API integration when required.Participate in technical design, architecture and system-design discussions.Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to define API contracts and data models.Troubleshoot performance, scalability, reliability and production issues.Write clean, maintainable, reusable and testable code.Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.Work with engineering/DevOps teams on Docker, CI/CD and deployment environments.Take ownership of features from requirement design development testing deployment production support.
