Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js ) Your Impact We’re hiring a backend engineer to build and scale high-traffic e-commerce platforms across ordering, pricing, loyalty, and integrations. This role is about ownership, performance, and reliability at scale. 🔧 What You’ll Do • Design & build scalable Node.js services and APIs • Work on high-throughput order processing systems • Develop event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ) • Design MongoDB data models and optimize performance • Build robust integrations (aggregators, payments, POS systems) • Ensure resilience (retries, idempotency, fault tolerance) • Improve performance, monitoring, and incident response • Work with Kubernetes & Azure for scalable deployments 🌐 Integration Focus • Handle APIs, webhooks, authentication, and data mapping • Ensure consistency across systems (orders, menu, pricing, inventory) • Manage partner integrations & production rollouts • Maintain SLAs, reliability, and smooth operations 🎯 What You Bring • 8+ years backend experience (6+ years Node.js) • Strong JavaScript / TypeScript • Experience in distributed systems & microservices • Hands-on with MongoDB, Kafka/RabbitMQ • Experience with Kubernetes & Azure • Strong skills in performance tuning & production debugging
