Software Engineer (.Net and Python)

Pilot Plant Sample Manager (PPSM) Leadership • Serve as the lead developer and primary maintainer of PPSM, a GUI-based system interfacing with MIDAS and the Data Workup Platform • Drive platform evolution including integration with the Workup API and migration away from legacy Symyx/LEA systems • Partner with pilot plant operators to: • Provide training and user support • Troubleshoot MIDAS-related issues surfaced through PPSM • Identify and implement usability enhancements • Collaborate with research staff to guide the creation and optimization of MIDAS templates Data Workup Platform Engineering Modernization • Play a key role in modernization initiatives including: • Redesigning and refining the data model in collaboration with data architecture stakeholders • Developing new API endpoints for system interoperability (e.g., PPSM – Workup API) • Contribute to long-term platform scalability, maintainability and performance improvements • Support integration across systems such as MIDAS, EMIT and advanced analytics platforms Data Pipeline Monitoring Support • Monitor health and performance of data pipelines supporting material balances (MatBal) • Troubleshoot issues across L3 systems, MIDAS and user workflows that impact data processing • Act as escalation point for resolving pipeline disruptions and ensuring data integrity • Proactively identify failure patterns and drive corrective improvements
