and market needs. 2. Sound knowledge of CAD design and drafting techniques, engineering drawing, reading of drawings. 3. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models of product components and assemblies. 4. Conduct research and analysis to support product development decisions, including feasibility studies, competitive benchmark, and technology assessments. 5. Prototyping and testing Support the construction and testing of prototypes to evaluate design functionality, performance, and maneuverability. 6. Good understand of Plastic Material Properties, Material Selection, Manufacturing Processes, Design for Plastic Manufacturing & Mold Design. 7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Hardware & manufacturing to ensure smooth product development and successful product launches. 8. Assist in the creation and maintenance of product documentation, including drawings, specifications, and user manuals. 9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in product design and development. 10. Support the continuous improvement of existing products through design enhancements and cost reduction initiatives.
