Experience Required
: 7+ years About the Project We are working on a large-scale website for a Middle East government ministry. A significant portion of the design work is complete, but the project currently requires a designer with strong technical Figma expertise to clean up, restructure, and bring consistency to the existing design files, while helping us close out remaining work efficiently. Why We're Hiring Client feedback has highlighted gaps in the technical execution of our Figma files — specifically around component usage, design system adherence, and file organization best practices. These gaps are currently causing delays in project delivery. We need an experienced designer who can quickly audit, fix, and elevate the technical quality of our existing screens while working under the guidance of our lead designer.
Key Responsibilities
Audit existing Figma files and identify structural/technical issues (broken components, inconsistent naming, lack of variants, non-adherence to design system, etc.)
Rebuild and refactor screens using proper components, auto-layout, variants, and design tokens
Establish and/or enforce a consistent design system across all screens
Fix existing screens based on direction and feedback from our lead designer
Apply Figma best practices for team collaboration, including organized file/page structure, clear naming conventions, and structured commenting/feedback workflows
Ensure designs meet WCAG accessibility guidelines Collaborate closely with the internal design and development team to maintain consistency across 1000+ screens
Confidently present and communicate design decisions directly with the client when required Work within tight timelines to help bring the project to completion •
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of professional UI/UX design experience Proven experience working on large-scale websites/products (1000+ screens or equivalent complexity) • Advanced, hands-on expertise in Figma — components, variants, auto-layout, design systems, libraries, and Figma's collaborative feedback tools • Solid understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines and how to apply them practically in design Strong visual/design sensibility — a natural eye for detail, hierarchy, and polish • Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting and defending design decisions in client-facing meetings • Ability to work independently, follow existing design direction, and fix/improve work efficiently • Available to work 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM IST for a minimum of 3 months •
Good to Have
Prior experience working on government or public-sector digital projects • Experience working with Middle East-based clients or teams • Familiarity with design handoff tools and developer collaboration workflows
What We're Looking For
Someone who can step in quickly, understand the current state of the files, and start fixing structural/technical issues without a long ramp-up period. This is as much about technical Figma discipline as it is about design taste — we need both. PLEASE APPLY ONLY IF YOU CAN START IMMEDIATELY
