The CDS&AI team is seeking a Data Scientist to contribute to the development and delivery of data-driven solutions that improve commercial and operational performance. In this role, you will work within a collaborative team environment to translate business problems into analytical solutions, with opportunities to grow into owning end-to-end projects over time. Primary Functions • Contribute to the development and enhancement of models and analytical tools (e.g., forecasting, optimization, performance measurement) • Partner with senior data scientists and business stakeholders to identify key business problems and generate actionable insights • Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and data assets to support analytics and modeling workflows • Apply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to solve business problems • Support model monitoring, validation, and performance tracking • Translate analytical findings into clear, digestible insights for stakeholders • Contribute to ad hoc analyses, including support for executive-level requests • Collaborate closely with teammates while developing the skills to independently drive analytical workstreams • Shape business decisions by translating analytical findings into clear, data-driven insights and recommendations for stakeholders • Operate with urgency and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing multiple priorities and evolving business needs • Demonstrate curiosity and a growth mindset, proactively seeking opportunities to deepen domain expertise and take increasing ownership of analytical work • Interest in becoming an airline domain expert
