And Duties OCT currently has an opening for a Junior Data Scientist to support an existing federal client with data analysis and predictive model development on the Databricks platform. Day to day
responsibilities
include: • Data cleaning and ETL development with SQL and Python • Data analysis using SQL and Python • Building pipelines in Databricks • Building visualizations with Databricks
Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Minimum B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar
Minimum 3 years of professional experience
Familiarity with FAIR principles, data governance, and AI ethics
Hands-on experience with Databricks features such as Unity Catalog setup, privilege models, and workspace administration required
Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills
Location: Hybrid, with 2 days/week in the McLean, VA office
