Back End Developer (Golang)

Golang/Backend Developer Pay: 68.26/hr Contract: 12 months Schedule: 3 days on site in Jersey City, NJ ✅ Must-Have Skills (GoLang Terraform Provider Role) 🔧 Core Engineering • Strong backend development experience in Go (Golang) • OR strong Java + willingness to ramp into Go quickly ⚙️ Terraform Provider Development (critical) • Hands-on experience building or extending Terraform Providers (not just using Terraform) • Deep understanding of: • Terraform provider architecture • Resource lifecycle (Create, Read, Update, Delete) • Experience working with Terraform Plugin Framework / SDK ☁️ API & Platform Integration • Experience integrating with REST APIs / service-layer APIs • Ability to build systems where: • Terraform calls → provider → APIs → infrastructure • Familiarity with API-driven infrastructure environments 🏗️ Infrastructure Automation (advanced level) • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts • Experience working on: • Internal platforms / private cloud • Automation tooling (not just scripting) 🧱 System Design / Middleware • Experience building middleware services in Go • Understanding of: • Distributed systems • Service orchestration • API abstraction layers 🔐 Enterprise Architecture (banking/controlled environments) • Experience working with: • API gateways • Centralized service access models • Understanding of controlled / governed infrastructure environments ✅ Nice-to-Haves • Experience building custom Terraform Providers for internal platforms • Exposure to private cloud infrastructure • Prior work in financial services / regulated environments • Familiarity with Terraform state management + automation pipelines
