About the Role
Writer is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable AI-powered backend platforms. This role focuses on building and evolving an integration client ecosystem, connecting enterprise tools and data sources, and developing high-throughput APIs that support reliable agent workflows. The engineer will work in a hybrid environment across NYC, San Francisco, and Seattle hubs, while mentoring engineers, helping define technical strategy, and partnering with product leadership to translate business goals into durable platform capabilities. ##
