About The Role
What if your Python expertise could directly shape how the world's most advanced AI systems write and reason about code? We're looking for experienced Backend Python Engineers to evaluate AI-generated code, build complex algorithmic challenges, and help push the boundaries of what AI can do with software. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for senior Python developers who want meaningful, high-impact work alongside cutting-edge AI research labs — on their own schedule. • Organization: Alignerr • Type: Hourly Contract • Location: Remote • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Review and evaluate AI-generated Python code for correctness, efficiency, and adherence to PEP 8 and industry best practices
- Design and develop complex backend algorithmic solutions and data processing scripts that challenge AI reasoning at its limits
- Write clear, human-readable explanations of backend logic, architectural decisions, and code quality judgements
- Identify edge cases, security vulnerabilities, and failure modes in AI-generated API logic
- Provide structured, expert-level feedback that directly informs how AI models learn to write better code
