Senior-level Product Designer specializing in e-commerce flows, checkout optimization, and transactional UX.
The role
focuses on improving conversion, scaling component libraries, and standardizing digital guest touchpoints across web and mobile platforms. A portfolio with end-to-end product design work and interactive prototypes is required.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end design for e-commerce pathways, checkout flows, special offers, and transactional experiences across web and mobile platforms.
Produce comprehensive design documentation aligned with the design system and component libraries, with emphasis on scalable commerce patterns.
Identify user and business problems within transactional flows, ideate solutions, test concepts, and deliver optimized experiences that drive measurable outcomes.
Collaborate with product management, engineering, consumer insights, and design partners to ship improvements to commerce touchpoints.
Design experiences across web, mobile web, native mobile apps (iOS and Android), and emerging platforms.
Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment and accelerate decision-making for high-impact commerce initiatives.
Provide guidance to junior designers contributing to commerce or systems-related work.
Apply rigorous design thinking best practices to transactional use cases that span digital and physical interactions.
Stay current on e-commerce best practices, design trends, and emerging technologies.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of product design experience with a strong emphasis on e-commerce, checkout, or transactional UX.
Proven ability to design end-to-end flows, including problem framing, ideation, prototyping, testing, and delivery.
Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly when articulating the rationale and business impact of commerce design decisions.
Ability to build interactive prototypes that demonstrate transactional or conversion-focused user journeys.
Experience working within and contributing to a design system, including component library usage for commerce flows.
Comfortable working in an agile environment with cross-functional partners.
Cross-platform design experience (web, mobile web, iOS, Android).
Portfolio required.
Preferred Qualifications
Senior-level expertise with systems design and scaling component libraries, especially for e-commerce and checkout patterns.
Advanced prototyping skills (mid
to high-fidelity) demonstrating mastery of transactional journeys and conversion optimization.
Applied knowledge of e-commerce best practices, including Baymard-aligned heuristics and usability principles.
Experience with quantitative, growth-driven design methodologies tied to transaction metrics or funnel performance.
Commercial product design and delivery experience.
Background in UX or Human-Computer Interaction.
Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows, emerging tech, and advanced storytelling for design rationale.
