The UX Designer/Researcher for the ARES production program owns the human-centered design cycle for their assigned capability areas and user community. This is a research-weighted UX role with responsibility of building deep relationships with a defined set of operational users, validating designs before implementation, and producing the interaction quality that drives usability and task completion performance

what you will do
) • UX research and design activities across the full government program lifecycle • Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research with federal government users/stakeholders • Design and prototype user interfaces compliant with Section 508 and USWDS standards • Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries • Serve as UX advocate in Agile delivery teams, collaborating with developers and PMs • Present UX strategy and findings to government stakeholders and program leadership
