about this role
’s hybrid or remote designation. Join Our Team Design the mobile experience that helps entrepreneurs run and grow their business from their phone. The GoDaddy Mobile App brings together domains, websites, marketing, and customer engagement into one unified experience. As a Lead Product Designer, you will shape high-impact, end-to-end experiences across onboarding, activation, and growth, while helping define the future of a single, simplified GoDaddy app. This is not a narrow UX role. You will operate across product, UX, UI, and research, owning problems end-to-end and working across the full design lifecycle. What you'll get to do... • Lead end‑to‑end design for complex product areas. Own design outcomes across strategic problem spaces within the GoDaddy Mobile App, from discovery through shipped experience, creating wireframes, user flows, and high‑fidelity designs while ensuring quality, usability, accessibility, and craft in execution. • Set and scale UX direction. Define a clear UX strategy by creating frameworks, patterns, and scalable solutions, translating customer insights, data, and business goals into actionable design decisions that elevate the overall product experience. • Prototype, test, and iterate with speed and intention. Rapidly explore, prototype, and validate ideas using tools such as Figma, Make, and Cursor, building “vibe‑coded” prototypes to test flows, interactions, and concepts early, and balancing speed with craft across low‑ and high‑fidelity work. • Collaborate and influence across teams. Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape strategy, scope, and trade‑offs; facilitate workshops, ideation sessions, and design reviews; and influence teams through strong points of view grounded in rationale, outcomes, and working artifacts—showing rather than telling. • Mentor designers and raise the quality bar. Support and mentor junior designers through feedback, guidance, and hands‑on collaboration while pushing teams to prototype early and continuously raising standards across interaction design, usability, accessibility, and overall product experience. Your experience should include... • 6+ years of product design experience with deep expertise in mobile platforms (iOS and Android), and a proven ability to lead projects of increasing complexity and ambiguity across cross‑functional teams. • Systems thinking and end‑to‑end ownership. Ability to think beyond individual screens to define scalable, cohesive solutions, with experience owning complete user journeys across multiple features or product areas. • High‑quality execution and validation skills. Strong hands‑on capabilities in wireframing, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping, with experience running usability testing, rapid experimentation loops, and using both qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., FullStory, Amplitude, Lyssna, UserTesting) to inform decisions. • Collaboration and communication excellence. Confident facilitator and communicator who partners effectively with Design, Product, and Engineering to drive alignment, influence decisions, and move work forward in fast‑paced environments. • Autonomy, modern tooling, and adaptability. Proficiency with Figma and modern design tools, experience using AI‑supported design workflows (such as Figma Make, Cursor, or similar), and comfort managing multiple priorities with high autonomy in dynamic, ambiguous situations. You might also have... • Experience working on SaaS or platform-based products. • Experience mentoring designers and contributing to team development. • Exposure to mobile-first or mobile-only product strategies. • Experience with content design, microcopy, or AI-generated UX patterns. • Comfortable working with cross-functional tools like Jira, Loom, and Microsoft tools. We've got your back... We offer a range of total rewards that may include paid time off, retirement savings (e.g., 401k, pension schemes), bonus/incentive eligibility, equity grants, participation in our employee stock purchase plan, competitive health
