Role Overview
As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will play a key role in defining the user experience across Sunfox's digital ecosystem, including mobile applications, web platforms, internal tools, and healthcare solutions. You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Clinical Teams, and Business stakeholders to create products that are intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex design challenges through research, strategy, and thoughtful execution while mentoring design excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end UX/UI design for web and mobile applications.
Conduct user research, usability studies, interviews, surveys, and competitor analysis to identify user needs and pain points.
Translate research insights into user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
Design intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent user experiences aligned with product goals.
Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
Validate designs through usability testing and continuously improve experiences using user feedback and analytics.
Ensure consistency across all digital products and maintain high design quality standards.
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Stay updated with emerging UX trends, accessibility standards, and design best practices.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI Design.
Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and real-world product experience.
Expertise in Figma for interface design, prototyping, design systems, and collaboration.
Proven experience designing both mobile applications and web applications.
Strong understanding of UX methodologies including: User Research, Information Architecture, Wireframing, Prototyping, Usability Testing, Interaction Design
Experience using user research and product analytics tools such as: Google Analytics, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) methodologies, Heatmaps, session recordings, surveys, or similar research tools
Strong understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and modern UI principles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have
Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or modern UI frameworks.
Experience working in the healthcare, health-tech, or medical device industry.
Familiarity with designing for Android, iOS, and responsive web applications.
Experience designing dashboards, enterprise software, or SaaS platforms.
