Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
Build modern, responsive web applications using React or similar JavaScript frameworks.
Develop reusable frontend components and implement effective state management.
Optimize frontend performance through techniques such as lazy loading, caching, and code splitting.
Ensure applications meet accessibility standards and provide an exceptional user experience.
Build and maintain cloud-native applications utilizing AWS services.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker.
Write clean, testable code following Test-Driven Development (TDD) best practices.
Develop unit and integration tests using PyTest.
Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Design and optimize database structures and queries across relational and NoSQL databases.
Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive healthcare information.
Support regulatory compliance

for healthcare applications. β’ Create and maintain technical documentation, API documentation, onboarding guides, and release documentation. β’ Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, clinical, and design teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Strong professional experience developing backend applications with Python and FastAPI.
Experience with Python libraries including NumPy, Pandas, and Pydantic.
Strong experience building frontend applications with React and modern JavaScript.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
Experience developing applications on AWS.
Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and PyTest.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and security best practices.
Experience working with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Preferred Experience
Experience with AWS services such as Cognito, IoT, Pinpoint, Kafka/MSK, or similar cloud technologies.
Experience with TypeScript.
Experience with C++.
Experience with Qt.
Experience integrating with Google APIs.
Familiarity with Jenkins, CircleCI, Prometheus, Grafana, Confluence, and Markdown.
Experience building software for regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, or medical devices.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and secure healthcare application development.
