Python Developer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Python Developer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in New York, NY or Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite. The successful candidate will join a US development team, managing production stability and the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications. This role involves understanding business processes, workflows, technology stacks, and various types of risk, particularly related to fixed income structured notes and options.

: • Understand the business processes, workflows, technology stack, various types of risk (Options Greeks) and their implementation • Manage multiple technology deliverables for the desk using an in-house framework and Python • Collaborate with various stakeholders including teams in India and the US to understand business priorities and work accordingly • Identify gaps in processes and help fill the gaps with innovative solutions • Work with the support and technology teams to resolve and escalate day to day issues

: • In-depth knowledge of developing end-to-end solutions for business using SDLC • Good experience in an Agile development environment • Experience as a Python developer (or C++/C#/Java with a willingness to switch to Python) • Good analytical and debug/troubleshooting skills • Good verbal and written communications • Experience working in fixed income Structured Notes • Knowledge of Derivatives Desired skills: • Working knowledge in Exotic Derivative products specifically Options and Structured Notes is desirable Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
