Product Design Manager, Newsroom is an experienced design leader who enjoys collaborating with designers, product, engineering, research, editorial, data, marketing, content strategy and business leadership to build efficient user workflows and intuitive storytelling tools. This is an incredible opportunity to join the CNN Product Design Team and to envision and design industry-leading editorial experiences for creating news content consumed by millions of audiences across the globe.
Your Role
Accountabilities… • Be an integral part of the product design team, working with cross-functional team leaders on creating the next generation of CNN’s editorial experiences for broadcast and digital news production, from small iterative improvements to long term vision. • Drive the product design strategy for the future of newsroom products, while advocating for its users with a strong sense of empathy, business goals, and industry at scale • Be both strategic and creative, with the ability to prioritize and deliver via hands-on execution and influence. • Establish a high performing team structure, including people management, professional development, and mentorship
