Department Summary: The department is seeking an early-career engineer who is passionate about designing and developing user-centered solutions to address our sponsors’ unique challenges. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced engineers, designers, researchers, and stakeholders to help frame problems, understand mission needs, and translate user insights into intuitive and effective solutions. You will contribute to stakeholder engagement activities—such as discussions, feedback sessions, and iterative design reviews—to ensure solutions align with user and mission objectives. As an Early Career UX/UI Engineer at MITRE, you will have the opportunity to build your skills across UX, UI, front-end development, and human-machine teaming while contributing to meaningful projects that support critical national missions.
