The UI Designer defines and delivers intuitive, visually compelling user experiences for an implantable medical device platform and its connected-care ecosystem. This role combines strong visual design skills with user-centered product design. They translate clinical workflows and user needs into elegant interfaces, rapid prototypes, and validated experiences across multiple concurrent products while preserving a consistent product-family experience. Responsibilities
- Own the strategic evolution of LivaNova’s multi-brand Design System, driving continuous improvements to components, tokens, and documentation, ensuring the system scales to meet the needs of multiple concurrent products and cross-functional teams across the organization.
- Resolve complex, cross-functional design issues spanning multiple products, teams, and technical constraints, serving as the senior escalation point for high-complexity UI problems.
- Define and scale UI operations establishing team best practices, design processes, and workflows that elevate UI maturity across the organization and ensure consistent, repeatable delivery, and alignment at scale.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineering, human factors, regulatory, legal, security, and marketing to align on safety, usability, and go-to-market needs.
