Job Overview

Thecset.georgetown.edu, under the School of Foreign Service, is hiring a UX Engineer. In this role, the UX Engineer will own UX improvements end-to end, from user research and prototyping through implementation and release. They will be part of CSET's cset.georgetown.edu/research-topic/data/; working collaboratively with software engineers, data scientists, and research fellows to design, build, improve, and maintain user-friendly and accessible websites and dynamic interfaces for our cset.georgetown.edu/emerging-technology-observatory/. The UX Engineer will also partner with CSET's Communications team and external web vendor to support appealing and consistent design, implementation, and user experience across CSET's digital presence. About CSET & the Emerging Technology Observatory: CSET is a research organization focused on studying the security impacts of emerging technologies, supporting academic work in security and technology studies, and delivering nonpartisan analysis to technologists and policymakers. CSET currently focuses on artificial intelligence, advanced computing and biotechnology. CSET is located in Georgetown University's Capitol Campus near Union Station.
