You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, bringing your design vision to life and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Your work will directly enhance customer understanding and satisfaction by creating clear, concise, and accessible messaging flows. What You’ll Do • Lead the full design lifecycle for communication initiatives, from initial concept through final implementation. • Iterate on designs within established brand guidelines and design system principles. • Foster strong partnerships with product and engineering teams to integrate design seamlessly into development. • Proactively identify and implement improvements to design processes and team workflows. • Provide valuable insights and flag potential risks related to design consistency and overall user experience. • Champion and uphold established design standards, principles, and direction. • Actively contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the organization’s design system. Must-Have
Qualifications
**Communication Design Expertise:*
4+ years of experience in communication design, demonstrating a critical eye for visual and written detail to ensure consistency and clarity across various touchpoints.
Proven ability to establish effective information hierarchy for short-form messaging.
Experience in designing for accessibility to create readable and usable written experiences.
**Exceptional Written English Proficiency:*
Strong command of grammar, editing, and clear, concise writing.
Demonstrated ability to simplify complex concepts into customer-friendly language.
A critical eye for content quality assurance and reviewing edge cases.
**UX Design Foundation:*
2+ years of experience in UX design.
Proficiency in Information Architecture design for messaging flows and decision paths.
Experience with prototyping and testing communication patterns.
Ability to conduct journey mapping for notification and follow-up experiences.
Practical application of design systems and pattern reuse in projects.
**Collaborative Spirit:*
Strong collaboration skills to effectively align messaging with product, engineering, and business partners.
**Design Software Proficiency:*
Expertise with leading design software (e.g., Figma) or comparable tools.
**Email Template Management:*
Experience with email template management software (e.g., Dyspatch) or comparable tools.
**Email Client Knowledge:*
Understanding of common email client rendering engines. Nice-to-Have
Qualifications
**Conversation Design:*
